Product Description

Size: 1-Pack | Color: Addi-Click-Lace-Long-Tip-Blue-Cords

The addi Click Long Lace Tips have the same sharp point as the regular Lace knitting needles, but are just over 5 inches in length, which some knitters prefer. Each kit includes US sizes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, along with 3 pliable BLUE addi-Lifeline Cords which create 24\\”, 32\\”, and 40\\” knitting needles, 1 Click connector, and a gold addi heart pin. The addi-Lifeline Cords make it easy to thread a lifeline or scrap yarn right through your project as you knit. This ingenious set comes in a vibrant pink case. The addi Click tips are nickel plated. Our nickel plating process is electro-static, which produces a smooth, rounded edge, where the tip and the cord \\”click\\” together. Please Note: Every addi product purchased from an Authorized addi Dealer comes with a Lifetime Warranty from any manufacturer’s defect.

Customer Reviews

The Addi Click Natura needle set is wonderful!

I have other brands of interchangable needles. My first set was the inexpensive Denise. The work fine, but the cords are too thick for magic loop knitting, where the excess cord sticks out. I have Knitpicks interchangables, and they have a very nice point for fine work, but they screw together. On some, the connection cannot be tighened enough to prevent loosening, and I really hate having to stop every row to tighten. It’s really a mess when they come off mid-row. The Knitpicks cords are fine. The surface on the Knitpicks needles is smooth, but a bit sticky – like paste wax – and some yarns really don’t slide well.

The Addis are GREAT. The bamboo is very smooth, and only slightly slower than metal needles (a plus for me, as I don’t lose stitches off the needles as easily). Tips are more rounded than the Knitpicks, but I’m knitting with a fuzzy alpca yarn now w/o problems. The cords are flexible and do magic loop well. The joins are nice and smooth – the best of all the sets I have – and they stay together w/o any worries (they bayonet in and twist into a j-shaped channel.) I’ve read the Addi Lace Clicks lace have shorter needle attachments, and I was concerned that these would not be as comfortable to knit with. The needle attachments on the bamboo Clicks are long enough to hold and manipulate comfortably. These are a great set. I cringed at the price because I’d been disappointed with various things about other sets, and had to buy these w/o trying them. I feel the Addis are the go-to set for me, and are as good as they should be. I’d buy them again. I’m a VERY happy knitter with these.

I purchased these for myself for Christmas. And I do like them! It’s nice having all those sizes at my fingertips. And the tips are slick and slippery and it makes me knit a lot faster. And the way the needles connect to the cables is really easy – no keys to tighten them. It’s great!

BUT – the cables. Ugh. These cables kink up and stay kinked up. I can’t get them to straighten out! It’s annoying – and after spending this kind of money on a set of needles, I feel like I shouldn’t have to fight with a cable that kinks. I have an old set of size 2 Addi Turbo’s that I bought years and years ago and those cables do not kink up – yet the cables being used in the kit are not the same as the cables from my old set of 2’s.

My overall experience with these are good – so I gave it the three stars because they are an awesome set of needles. Aside from the kinky-thing… :)

I’ve been knitting since I was about 6 or 7 and believe me, that is a very long time. From the moment that I discovered Addi Turbos, they’ve been my favorite needle. I’ve loved their heft, their smooth join, their shiny, slick surface and the audible click they make when I’m knitting a project. This, of course, is entirely subjective but as far as I’m concerned Addi Turbos are the finest knitting needles ever produced.

Over the years, I’ve collected hundreds of needles of various materials. I’ve tried plastic, wood, bamboo and different types of metals. I always come back to Addi. When I learned a few years ago that Skacel was coming out with a line of interchangeable Addis, I was thrilled, that is until I realized that I already had far more needles than I could ever use, including two interchangeable sets from other manufacturers.

Although I suppressed it for a few years, the desire to own these needles never left me and recently and happily, I succumbed. The Clicks are everything I imagined and more. The needle tips themselves are of the same quality as my individual Addis and important to me, they feel and even sound the same. The cables are soft and supple and I’ve experienced no problems with kinking or curling. The joining mechanism is pure genius. It’s fast and easy and requires no tools. Yet it produces a smooth, seamless join that’s very strong and secure. At the same time, it’s easy to undo when you’re ready. Even the presentation is well done. And the company stands behind its products and offers a lifetime guarantee from manufacturer’s defects.

For anyone who has used and liked Addi Turbo needles, I recommend the Click system without reservation.

I am new to knitting and a friend suggested purchasing a needle set from the start. I researched the options and was very confused by the drastically different prices for various needle sets and all the conflicting feedback. In the end, I opted for the Addi interchangeable set. I love it! The cables lock into the needles, so there are no tools to lose or risk of over tightening the screws. They never come undone until you want them to. The needles are sized perfectly to fit in my hands comfortably and the cables never kink. You do need to straighten the cables after you unpack them. They come tightly wound for shipping, but I never had another problem and they fit back into the case easily. I am very happy with this purchase. I understand that needles are a personal choice. If you have the money to spurge, I would suggest the Addi Interchangeable set.
You can shop around and find them on sites for a few dollars difference. I opted to purchase through Amazon because I felt more secure with the site.
Happy Knitting!
